What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out by 11:00. If you need an early drop-off of luggage or a late checkout, please get in touch and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Is there parking at Casa dos Barcos?

Yes - free private parking is available on-site for all guests. No need to worry about finding a space.

Are canoes and bicycles really included?

Yes, complimentary use of canoes and bicycles is included in all stays. They can be accessed directly from the garden - no booking needed.

What is the kitchen like?

The kitchen is fully equipped - espresso machine, oven, fridge, all cookware and utensils. When you book Casa dos Barcos, the entire house is yours exclusively. A welcome basket of local Azorean products is waiting on your arrival.

Is the house suitable for children?

Yes - the house has been fully refurbished and is welcoming for families with children of all ages. The garden, the canoes, and the surrounding nature make it a wonderful setting for little ones too. If you have any specific needs, don't hesitate to get in touch.

Is the house always private?

Yes, always. When you book Casa dos Barcos, the entire house is yours - two bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms, dining area, kitchen, and porch. You will never share the house with other guests. It sleeps up to 4 adults comfortably.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Yes, high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. That said, many of our guests find themselves switching off and letting the lake set the pace instead.
